The imagined starting point
What gets in the way?
The travel portal crowds a small whale feature between tour categories and an enquiry column. Repeated prompts compete with seasonal information and the departure details.
The design choices
Follow the horizon, then the details.
- An immersive whale opening uses a corner disclosure menu and a seasonal roundel.
- Unequal field-guide chapters give whale watching and island days their own space, including an honest sightings note.
- An onboard sequence and a broad departure panel carry the page from inspiration to practical planning.
